Biography and academic profile

Dr Jay Sarraf is an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, and Deputy Director, KIIT Digital. He combines academic teaching and research with leadership in digital strategy, branding and institutional communication.

As part of his leadership role at KIIT Digital, he heads branding and digital communication initiatives for the institution, overseeing strategic digital presence, institutional websites, social media, visual communication and technology-enabled outreach. His work focuses on building a consistent and contemporary digital identity for the University while strengthening its communication across platforms.

His research interests include Brain–Computer Interfaces, Signal and Image Processing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things. His academic work has explored EEG-based signal analysis, brain–computer interaction and the application of intelligent computing techniques to real-world problems.

His professional work lies at the intersection of academia, technology and communication, bringing together his experience in computing, digital platforms and institutional branding with his commitment to teaching, research and student mentoring.
