School of Computer Engineering, KIIT-DU organized an alumni meet titled “Getting Connected Again” on 10th October, 2021 in virtual mode. The event received a good response from more than 100 participants. The alumni were addressed by Prof. Biswajit Sahoo, Director, School of Computer Engineering and Prof. Samaresh Mishra, Director, Student Affairs.

It was followed by an interactive session, where the alumni of different batches reminisced about their time at KIIT. They shared the memories of their journey at the School and expressed gratitude to their Alma-mater for achieving a successful life and great heights in their careers. They shared with everyone their professional achievements and also put forward a few suggestions on their contribution and partnership for excellence. They voluntarily expressed the interest to contribute for the overall betterment of the School in terms of recruitment scope, academic facilities, internship provision, etc. Some insights and suggestions were also shared by alumni on their interest in helping students with regular career counseling and alumni talk programs. The alumni of various batches got familiar with each other and built connections for future collaborations. There was also a cultural segment with songs and artwork presented by the alumni. The event ended with a word of thanks from Prof. Satarupa Mohanty.
