Dr. Mainak Bandyopadhyay is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He is a researcher in Computer Science and Engineering whose work focuses on the application of intelligent computational techniques to spatial, visual, and complex data. Dr. Bandyopadhyay completed his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) from GBTU, Lucknow, followed by an M.Tech. and Ph.D. from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad. His academic background combines computer science with spatial and computational methods. His major areas of interest include Spatial Computing, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). His research record shows publications in areas such as spatial computing, deep learning, image classification, and computer vision.
