Biography and academic profile
Jyotiprakash graduated from the prestigious BITS - Pilani with a degree in BE (Computer Science) in 2010. After serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff with Oracle for 4 years, he went on to pursue his MS (Computer Science) from one of the world's topmost universities, the University of Wisconsin - Madison (USA) with a full scholarship. After graduating from there in 2016, he worked for Epic (the world's leading medical software company) in the US for 2 years as a Software Developer and later got promoted to a Software Development Manager. In 2020, he decided to leave the US to come back to India. Overall, he has more than 10 years of industry experience. He joined KIIT as an Assistant Professor (II) in September 2020. His research interests include Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and Machine Learning. He teaches Operating Systems and Computer Architecture to undergraduate students here. He shares his lectures on his YouTube channel for the benefit of students and the Computer Science community overall.
