Biography and academic profile
Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mallick is a Senior Associate Professor in the School of Computer Engineering and the Associate Dean (IPR) at KIIT Deemed to be University, Odisha, India. Since January 2021, he has also been serving as a collaborating Research Professor at Baekseok University, South Korea. In addition, he currently holds the position of Vice-Chair of the IEEE Computer Society, Bhubaneswar Section. Earlier, he served as Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.Dr. Mallick obtained his Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Kongju National University, South Korea, his Ph.D. from Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, his M.Tech. (CSE) from Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), and his MCA from Fakir Mohan University. His research interests include Data Mining, Image Processing, Soft Computing, and Machine Learning.He has authored more than 190 research papers, 20 edited books, and one textbook. He also holds 14 granted international patents and 17 published national patents and has successfully completed two international consultancy research projects. Dr. Mallick serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Korean Convergence Society for SMB and as a Guest Editor for reputed international journals published by Elsevier, Springer Nature, SAGE, and Inderscience.
