Prabhat Kumar Singh won Second Runner-Up in the Nukkad Natak event at IIT Kharagpur Spring Fest 2025, as part of a 20-member team.

Astik Mishra recieved the second prize in Odia Debate at the state level Debate Competition held at Bhubaneswar in November 2025.

Sukriti Raj won a Bronze medal in east zone junior athletics championships 2024 in mixed relay. Silver medal in both 100m and 200m in Bihar state meet in july2025.

Ayush Kumar secured the Second Prize in an International Hackathon held in 2025. He developed DiagnoSure, an AI-driven healthcare solution focused on improving healthcare accessibility and enabling early disease diagnosis using medical scans or symptom-based inputs, with particular relevance for remote and resource-constrained settings.

Shubam Chakraborty presented a research paper titled “An Advanced Predictive Intelligence Driven Approach for House Price Prediction in Urban Community” at the 2nd International Conference on Computing Systems and Intelligent Applications (ComSIA-2025) held at the University of Delhi on 28–29 March 2025.

Kamalsheel Katyayan received the CCT Global Certification in 2025 on a merit basis, recognizing demonstrated proficiency in cybersecurity principles, network security, and industry-aligned security practices within a globally recognized certification framework.

Udita J. Monani’s team, “Hayagriva,” achieved a Special Mention at the CyberPeace Hackathon, organised by KIIT University in collaboration with the CyberPeace Foundation, under the leadership of Maj.
Vineet Kumar and Capt. Suresh Chandra Joshi. The team worked on the problem statement “Detecting Deepfakes and Mapping Infrastructure Vulnerability through SAR & Optical Image Pairs”—an idea addressing critical challenges at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure resilience. The significance and applicability of this work led to the idea being taken forward to the Global AI Pre-Summit at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Anchal Batra, along with Vidhi Vanshita Jha and Smriti jha secured 3rd position at the International student convention 2024-25 held by AIU at Adamas University on 17th-18th January 2025. The team stood 3rd in the zonal level and qualified for the national level.

Ayushman Garabadu received the first prize along with Man of the match and highest scorer of the tournament in XPL tournament ( all over Odisha )

Pranjal Yadav received the 2nd prize in the Red Hat Academy Linux Challenge, an MCQ-based competition with participation from 200 students across all academic years, and was awarded Red Hat goodies.

Param Dubey of team KashxPankh won 3rd price in dramatics(street play) at the National Level Dramatics Competition at IIT Kharagpur, Spring Fest in January 2025

Anika Gangwar received recognition from Kyungyun Roo and Shubham Mukherjee, won the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 along with exclusive goodies, visited multiple Samsung R&D centres in Bengaluru,

Vansika Jhawar was announced East and North East winner in the Regional Round (2nd Round) along with Rs.60,000. Then, I secured the 1st runner up position at the Final round along with Rs. 1,70,000. Also, my travel and stay to Bangalore was arranged by IET.

Udayaditya Parbat received the award of becoming the youngest NGO founder of India, forming rigel foundation in 2020.

Jatindra Dash participated and represented KIIT in two different international Universities in two different countries. First program in Istanbul,Turkey in February 2025 and Second Program in Tulsa, USA in October 2025.

Harshit Kumar Singh secured 1st position in the “Decode and Dominate” competition at KIIT Fest 8.0, organized by KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, held from 14–16 February 2025.

Satya Saurav Satapathy received the internship completion certificate from the organization done virtually for the oganization Mirai School of Technology and also got a letter of Recommendation (LOR) which was done for 2 months (i.e; July and August)

Ammar Bhilwarawala won the Best Research Paper Award in Image Processing Track at ANTIC 2025 CONFERENCE 5TH EDITION which is SPRINGER SCOPUS INDEXED

Rahul’s team Automated Squad won the first runner up prize in the hackathon aka HACKABOT which was conducted by UiPath Student Community under TnP.

Joyna Rout’s platoon representing Computer Science and Engineering department won the Champion’s Trophy for being the best in march past competition

Atharva (Roll No. 2305688) was selected among the Top 50 participants and featured in the Hall of Fame at Codex 1.0, a technical coding competition organized by the Konnexions Society, KIIT University, held in December 2025.

Yash Kumar Sinha received the bronze medal in Kickboxing at Internatinal Kickboxing Championship held at Jakarta ,Indonesia in August 2025

Procam Slam is the cycle of different running events includes Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata, Tata Mumbai Marathon and Tata World 10K Bengaluru.
Sushil Gurung participated in these events and completed before the cut-off times. He completed a cycle/loop starting from VDHM24 to ending at TCSW10K to achieve the PROCAM slam.

Akshat Kumar presented a research paper at the International Conference IMECOM 2025 held at UEM Jaipur in January 2025.

Annu Prabha Shah was a member of the Organizing Committee of CyberHunt, organized by Cyber Peace Corps – KIIT Chapter on 13th December 2025, contributing to the successful execution of the event.

Anurag Mukherjee presented a research paper titled “A Study on Energy Efficient Routing in Smart Water Distribution Network Using the ACO” (Authors: Anurag Mukherjee,
Abhisek Mishra, and Dr Hitesh Mohapatra) at CIACON 2025. This paper was subsequently published in IEEE Xplore as part of the official conference proceedings.

Soham Roy’s research paper on copyright protection for diffusion models was published to the U&ME Workshop at the International Conference of Computer Vision 2025, taking place in Hawaii, USA, in October 2025.

Debdeep Sanyal published the first CORE A* paper in the history of KIIT. CORE A* conferences are the most prestigious international conferences in Computer Science. 2 papers got accepted at EMNLP 2025, and 1 paper at AAAI 2026, both CORE A* conferences.

Rajshekhar Das achieved a rank of AIR 28 in Flipkart Infosec Certification Program (ISCP) which was 2nd round of the event held Online

GitLab’s CodeForge Track, IIT Bombay out of 2500+ teams, nationally in 11th to 12th December 2025. 3 – Sakib Alam and his team came in Top 10, at the General Case Study: COMPOSIT 2025, IIT Kharagpur out of 400+ teams, nationally in 21st to 23rd March 2025. 4 – Sakib Alam came within top 0.99%, at the Keploy Fellowship Program, out of 168 candidates from a pool of 18500+ candidates worldwide in 19th May to 26th August, 2025.

Soha Shirin’s team got Football runners up, and she got a trophy for winning and scholarship for dance and other medals and prizes in music

Ananya Manna has secured 3rd position in Intermediate category from team Brute Force Army in Ignithon Hackathon

Tushar Paul, along with his team members from NIT and IIIT Agartala, secured the First Runner-Up position in the prestigious Sparkathon conducted by Walmart.
The team stood 2nd among 7200+ teams and 21,000+ students who participated from across the country.

Khushi Kumari represented Odisha Directorate in Republic Day Camp, Delhi 2025. Was selected as Best Cadet (SW) Army Wing from Odisha Directorate. Also received the DG Medallion.

Payal Sinha participated as a presenter and co-author in the 6th Doctoral Symposium on Computational Intelligence (DoSCI-2025),
an international conference jointly organized by Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow; Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi; Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, University of Delhi; and University of Calabria, Italy, held on 28–29 March 2025. The paper titled “Deployment of Machine Learning Model for Predictive Analysis of Rising Crime Trends” focused on applying machine learning techniques for crime trend prediction and data-driven public safety analysis.

Kushagra Agrawal secured a fully funded IIPP Research Internship in Taiwan (R.O.C.), receiving NT$ 60,000 (≈ ₹1.7 lakh) from the National Science and Technology Council,
Taiwan, to conduct a 2-month research internship on Biomedical AI applications on edge devices during July–August 2025

Satyam Kumar’s Team FizzBuzz were second runners up in the Arbitrum hackathon and won a prize money of 500USD.

Kushagra Agrawal and Nisharg Nargund from School of Computer Engineering presented and published the research paper titled “Neural Orchestration for Multi-Agent Systems:
A Deep Learning Framework for Optimal Agent Selection in Multi-Domain Task Environments” at PReMI 2025 held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. The work proposes a deep learning–based orchestration framework for dynamic agent selection across heterogeneous multi-domain task environments and has been accepted for publication in Springer’s Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series

Ankit Kumar published and presented an international conference paper titled “Revolutionizing Education Practices Through Gen-AI to Achieve Personalization”
at the 6th Doctoral Symposium on Computational Intelligence (DoSCI-2025). The paper has been published by Springer in the proceedings of DoSCI-2025 and became available online in January 2026.
