"Dr. Suchismita Rout currently working as an Associate Professor in School of Computer Engineering in KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, which is regarded as one of the leading International universities in the area of academic and research in India. She has always been a vibrant lady in the field of Research and Development. She obtained her PhD degree in the field of Computer Science and Engineering from School of Computer engineering, KIIT DU. Her Masters is in the field of Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha. During the period of her masters, she had experience of JRF for a DST sponsored project in NIT, Rourkela. Her research interests include Software Defined Networking, Mobile Ad Hoc Network, Wireless Sensor Network, Cloud Computing. She has authored highly cited articles in reputed International Journals, Conferences and book chapters. She has successfully organized many faculty developments programme, invited talks, student seminars and bridge courses. Along with that, she has delivered technical talks as a resource person in different organizations. She is a member of the Editorial board and Review Committee for International Conferences and Journals. She is a Fellow of ACEEE, ISTE, IEEE. She has engaged in academic activities for the last 18 years. She has been an active supporter of experimental learning for students and has conceptualized Integration of Industry Oriented courses into the curriculum. She is a WIPRO Certified Faculty for providing training in the field of JAVA and J2EEE from August 2020. She has earlier served in various positions in different premier institutes, namely Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar and PCE, Rourkela. She has industry experience in Accenture, Bangalore. She has been associated with a broad spectrum of subjects in teaching and is equally proficient in contributing to society through her innovative research work. Her intellectual vigor along with the personal warmth makes her one of the most sought after teachers. She received the Best Teacher Award on the eve of Engineer’s Day 2022 in Odisha Technological Conclave organized by Ever Green Forum on 15th September 2022 at Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
