Sricheta Parui recently submitted her Ph.D. thesis in Computer Science and Engineering at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), where her groundbreaking research focused on harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Non-Invasive Brain Signals Processing and Psychophysiological Characteristics Assessment. Sricheta's academic journey is marked by excellence. She earned her Master's degree in Control System Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2018, and her Bachelor's in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management (CIEM) in 2016, where she was honored with a Gold medal for achieving the university's top position. Sricheta's research interests are diverse, spanning Cognitive Science, Brain-Machine Interface, Emotional Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Her passion for cutting-edge research has been recognized with the UGC Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Single Girl Child Scholarship (2016-2018) during her master's studies. Sricheta's academic prowess has garnered numerous awards and fellowships, including the prestigious IEEE Computer Society Richard E. Merwin Student Fellowship '22, IEEE Lance Stafford Larson Student award '21, Google Student Scholarship '21, and Young Scientist Conference Awardee '20. Sricheta's research contributions are well documented through numerous papers published in renowned IEEE flagship conferences and journals. Her impactful work has earned her various prestigious Best Paper and Presentation awards, highlighting her commitment to advancing knowledge in her field. Sricheta has received various travel grants and fellowships to attend conferences where she has presented her work. These opportunities underscore her commitment to academic excellence and the dissemination of impactful research.

Her commitment to excellence extends to various IEEE roles, earning her distinctions such as IEEE Brand Ambassador, IEEE STEM Champion 2022, IEEE Ethics Champion 2023, IEEE VOLT Graduate 2024, IEEE Xtreme 15.0 Ambassador, IEEE Day Ambassador, and IEEE CS GSC Outreach Ambassador. Actively contributing to the academic community, Sricheta serves as the Secretary of IEEE Student Branch Kharagpur Section and holds leadership roles as the Vice Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter at IIT Kharagpur. Additionally, she serves as the Vice Chair and Assistant Treasurer of IEEE Women in Engineering, IEEE Kharagpur Section.
