Shaswati Patra
Assistant Professor
She completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from BPUT, Odisha. She has qualified both GATE and UGC-NET in Computer Science and Engineering. She obtained her Master's degree in Software Engineering from NIT Durgapur and earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Bhilai. Her research interests include Parallel Algorithms, Distributed Algorithms, Approximation Algorithms, and Distributed Systems. She has been serving as an Assistant Professor at KIIT since 2015. Over the years, she has taught several under gradute courses such as Data Structures and Algorithms, Computer Organization and Architecture, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Information Theory and Coding, Distributed Algorithms, and Distributed Operating Systems. At the postgraduate level, she has taught Advanced Data Structures and Algorithms.
