Minakhi Rout
Associate Professor
Dr. Minakhi Rout is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Engineering at KIIT University. She has over 20+ years of experience in teaching and research across reputed institutions in Odisha and Hyderabad. She completed her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from KIIT University in 2005, followed by an M.Tech from ITER, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University in 2009. She later pursued her Ph.D. in Computational Finance at Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University and completed in 2015.
Dr. Rout has published 80+ research papers in reputed journals and international conferences. she has an h-index of 17 and an i10-index of 23, indicating a strong research impact. Her research interests include Soft Computing, Evolutionary Computing, Data Mining, and Computational Finance.
She has guided 6 Ph.D. Scholars, 15 M.Tech. Scholars and several B.Tech students in various research areas.
Her contributions to machine learning and deep learning applications, particularly in financial forecasting and medical imaging, have been widely recognized.
