Biography and academic profile
Dr Himadri Sekhar Roy earned his PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2025, specializing in Big Data storage and retrieval in distributed environments. His research interests include Big Data, Distributed Storage, Cloud Computing, High-Speed MANET, IoT, and Open-Source Hardware. He has published several journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters. He received fellowships from DRDO for research on High-Speed MANET and UGC (UPE Phase-II) for Big Data management in cloud. He holds an M.E. (2015) from Jadavpur University and a B.Tech (2009) from MAKAUT. Since 2009, he has worked in web and mobile development, cloud platforms (AWS), microservices, e-commerce, and open-source technologies.
