Biography and academic profile

Dr. Anjan Bandyopadhyay is an Associate Professor at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He earned his Ph.D. from NIT Durgapur, West Bengal, India, under the Visvesvaraya Ph.D. Fellowship scheme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. He also holds an M.Tech in Information Security from the Department of Information Technology, NIT Durgapur.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay’s broad research interests encompass Algorithmic Game Theory (Mechanism Design), Quantum Computing, Cloud and Fog Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), and Healthcare Informatics. He has published over 133 research papers in reputed Scopus- and SCIE-indexed journals and conferences and Published 5 authored books, and has received several Best Paper Awards in many conferences. He is currently supervising PhD and M.Tech Scholars in emerging areas of computer science.
His current research focuses primarily on Algorithmic Game Theory and Quantum Computing and its interdisciplinary applications. Dr. Bandyopadhyay also actively serves as a reviewer for numerous international journals and conferences, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to academic excellence.
