VISTA, the Machine Intelligence and Computer Vision Society at KIIT University, is dedicated to advancing student knowledge and hands-on experience in cutting-edge AI technologies. The society focuses on empowering students to build real-world applications using Generative AI, multi-modal APIs, and computer vision tools. Through interactive events, build challenges, and intensive bootcamps, VISTA actively fosters creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and practical AI development skills.

To bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application, the society organizes targeted initiatives that challenge students to solve predefined problem statements. Events like “GENOVATE” introduce the vast applications of Generative AI, driving students to develop utility-based creative projects under strict time constraints. Furthermore, through introductory bootcamps, VISTA provides foundational training in image generation, manipulation, and object detection, enabling participants to confidently implement industry-standard Python libraries such as OpenCV on their own devices.
