Dr. Jaydeep Das is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Engineering at Kalinga Institute Industrial Technology (KIIT) Bhubaneswar, India since August 2021. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, in 2021. He completed his M.E. degree in Software Engineering from Jadavpur University, India, in 2014. He received his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology, India, in 2011. Prior joining M.E., he worked as Quality Analyst in Oracle India Pvt. Ltd. for 8 months. He served as a Senior Scientific Officer, in DIT project, Standardization of Virtual Keyboards in Indic Languages, at IIT Kharagpur after completion of his masters degree.

His research works are published in prestigious IEEE Transactions, Journals, and conferences such as IEEE Transaction on Services computing, Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory (SIMPAT), Elsevier, Software: Practice and Experience, Wiley, IEEE COMSNETS, ACM/IEEE CCGrid, CCEM etc. Dr. Das also served as a reviewer in several prestigious IEEE/ACM Journals, and Conferences. He has current research interests in Intelligent Edge-Cloud Computing, Next-generation Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), and Spatial Informatics.
